Using Luminar Neo with Adobe Photoshop

Luminar Neo is a powerful addition to Adobe Photoshop. To apply Luminar Neo as a filter, follow these steps:

1. Open Adobe Photoshop.
2. Open an image you’d like to enhance.
3. Choose Filter > Skylum Software > Luminar Neo … (a dialog box will appear to indicate that Luminar is running).
4. Luminar Neo should automatically open the image you were editing. If needed, click the Luminar Neo icon in your Dock or Taskbar to switch to it.
5. Make any edits or adjustments in Luminar Neo
6. When done, click the Apply button to send the adjusted image back to Photoshop.

*Tip: Luminar Neo can operate as a Smart Filter in Photoshop. If you designate a Photoshop layer as a Smart Object, you can then launch the Luminar Neo plugin as normal to make edits. When you return to Photoshop, you can always double-click on the layer and return to Luminar Neo with all edits intact.

!Crop^AI Missing?
Due to a Photoshop limitation, the Crop^AI tool is hidden when Luminar Neo is run as a Photoshop plugin. Photoshop requires that any image sent to a plugin returns with the same shape and pixel count. You can, however, crop and straighten your photo in Photoshop before or after invoking the plugin.
